Absolutely fantastic breakfast! Was very busy when we arrived but we're seated within 5 minutes. Our server, Charlton, was great. I've never seen someone hustle like that. I swear he did everything at a jog while being very friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. Our party of 4 got french toast made from baguette bread, the W Skillet and eggs with home fries. We also got a cinnamon roll for the table. Everything was delicious and the portions large. The cinnamon roll though was the star of the table! Warm, buttery, just beyond words delicious. We'll be stopping here the next time we come through Gunnison.
Food with great taste and fast service. We had pork chops with eggs and hash brown, oatmeal, Philly sandwich and french fries. Everything was very good, just oatmeal a bit cold. Small and simple restaurant, good atmosphere. I just would like they had better seats/chairs.
We stayed in Gunnison over the weekend for the first time, from Texas. This was the best breakfast I've had in a long long time! Portions are great (I mean look at the giant pancake!), everything was delicious, and everybody was lovely and friendly. I hope we come back through here some day and can eat here again :)
Stopped in for a late breakfast. Was seated promptly. All the servers seem super friendly and help each other. The food is amazing. I ordered the Monterey omelette with hash browns and a biscuit. It came with guacamole and salsa. I had my food about 5 minutes after I ordered. Everything was very good, but the biscuit was amazing. I'd come back here in a heartbeat.
We will stay a night in Gunny just to go here. Their food is perfect, serive is incredible, it's just the perfect small town diner. We've had pretty much everything on the menu, but our favorites are: - W skillet. Just a great, hearty way to start the day with a good amount of protein and some veggies. Add a side of sausage gravy to put it over the top. - French toast. HUGE slices of baguette or hoagie that are battered. Really unique and wonderful. - Omelets. Any of them, but I go basic with a bacon and American cheese. Unlike so many places, The Dub does it right mixing the bacon into the egg and putting the melty cheese in the middle. Mmmmmm This is THE place to go in the valley. Any wait is worth it.
Cute local cafe. Everyone is very friendly. Placed our orders and had the food come in no time. Food was amazing! We'll be back!
